Wool Felt Pack Saddle Liner – Blue Creek Outfitting

This wool felt pack saddle liner adds an extra layer of protection and cushioning under your pack saddle pad. Designed for working pack horses and mules, it helps distribute weight evenly and reduces friction on long backcountry trips.

Half-inch thick pack saddle liner for increased protection of the pack horse. Measures 43 × 36 inches and is made from SAE industrial grade felt with 55% wool from free-roaming sheep.

This liner matches our pack saddle pads and stays in place under the pack, avoiding the slipping that can happen with lower-quality liners. Tested in real mountain packing conditions, this liner is designed to protect your horse’s back and keep your loads stable over long distances.
